Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Do you always feel like you’ve got to be doing something?

And in those moments, do forget that simply

being with your kids,

being physically present,

as mentally tuned-in as possible,

and just loving them

IS doing something;

even if last night's dishes are still in the sink where they'll remain for as long as you decide to ignore them;

even if the washer, dryer, and hampers are all full, while a pile of wrinkling, unfolded clothes continue to decorate the kitchen table;

even if

the house is a mess,

so are your kids,

and so are you?

You’ve got your whole life to do a lot of things, but you’ve only got 18 years to do something with and for your children while they still want you to.

The next time you feel like being their mother isn't you ‘doing enough,'

remember that your kids, well, they are the only ones you must be doing enough for.

And, luckily for you,

just being together,

sharing time and some snacks,

is usually more than enough for them.
