I wish I'd known that I wouldn't need 12 swaddle blankets, 16 burp cloths, 15 diaper mats, and 22 onesies. I've been through the baby stage twice now and not once were all of these dirty at the same time. Never, ever. Even here in space-strapped Manhattan, they have these magical devices called washers and dryers that render this whole dirty laundry problem obsolete. It's crazy brilliant how well they work.
