1.Become a Substitute Teacher

Teaching students when their regular teachers are not available is something anyone with a bachelor’s degree could think about doing. You’re not required to hold a teaching degree and can decide which assignments you’ll take on and when. As soon as a permanent teacher falls ill or needs to take leave, you then step in to give their class instructions on their behalf and manage the learning environment.

According to the Bureau of Labour Statistics at the United States Department of Labour, the average substitute teacher earns almost $31,000 a year, and on their site, they share their research on which industries and states have the highest employment rates in this field.

2. Apply to be a Radiologic Technician

If you are passionate about healthcare and willing to study online to obtain a degree in Bachelor of Radiation Science Technology, then this could be the career for you. Spend your time positioning patients and setting up the machines that take perfect images for radiologists to make diagnoses. It’s a field that is growing across a range of industries, and that can earn you an average annual salary of around $57,000, according to the University of Cincinnati. The university offers both insight and a range of suitable online study programs on this topic.

Depending on who you work for – and this ranges from local government to companies to schools, and beyond, you can expect to earn an average salary of almost $58,000 each year, in this line of work. The Bureau of Labour Statistics at the United States Department of Labour projects that employment rate in this field will grow by 9% between now and 2026, which puts it on par with many other industries and shows that this is a profession worth serious consideration.

4. Substance Abuse Nurse
