Why is time moving by so damn quickly? My baby, my only son turns 12 today! One-two, 12, as in one year away from teenager and I am NOT okay. They say that the bond between a mother and son is unbreakable and I can only hope that is the truth becuase this handsome guy is some kind of special..... Not quite sure what I did to deserve him, but I am so grateful every day. 12 has come too fast and if I could stop time right now, my-god I would.... In honor of Emmet on his 12th birthday, here are 12 things I love about him:

1) he’s an empath and is always thinking of others.

2) he says please, thank you and I love more than anyone else I know.

3)he is happy with Cheerios for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

4)he truly loves life.

5)he watches scary movies and natural disaster movies with me.

6)when I lose my car keys he goes outside and looks through the garbage (piece by piece) for said keys.

7)he once’s turned his bedroom into a spa/hotel for me, complete with lit candles.

8- he is so funny- like intellectually, roll-on-the-floor-laughing funny.

9) he’s fearless.

10) he’s always creating something, experimenting, starting a slime business etc….Entrepreneur life.

11) have you seen him dance? Or heard him sing?

12) he is the best son and brother anyone could ask for!
