Creamy walnut pesto with a kick of heat. Perfect for pasta, steak, or roasted vegetables. This pesto is simple and healthy.

Pesto Sauce

Prep Time: 15 min


  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 jalapeno seeded
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black Pepper
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 cup Arugula
  • 1 cup Spinach
  • ¼ cup olive oil


  1. In a food processor, combine the walnuts, jalapeno, garlic, cheese, salt and pepper and lime juice
  2. Process the mixture until smooth
  3. Add the spinach and arugula and process until blended
  4. Gradually add the olive oil and blend
  5. Don't over process
