It is a simple recipe under 5 ingredients that you can make in the slow cooker and everyone can eat when they want!

Hard Root Beer Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 12 oz bottle of hard root beer
  • 16 oz bottle brown sugar BBQ sauce
  • ½ onion, chopped
  • red bell pepper, chopped

Preparation

  1. Brown the ground beef with the onion and bell pepper, cook until no longer pink
  2. Drain off the fat and set the beef mixture aside
  3. In a slow cooker add the entire bottle of the hard root beer and BBQ sauce, stir to combined
  4. Add the ground beef mixture to the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or low for 6 hours
  5. Serve on buns and Enjoy
