Cedar Plank Salmon

Soak Cedar Plank all day - prepare rub - (Can also use steaks or chicken)

Cedar Plank Salmon


  • Salmon (4 filets)
  • Dry Rub - Paprika; chili powder; black pepper; brown sugar; coarse salt
  • Honey for drizzle
  • Olive oil to rub plank
  • Asparagus to add as roasted side


  1. Prepare grill (gas or charcoal)
  2. Rub soaked plank with olive oil - put on top grate on grill for 2 mins
  3. Dry rub the Salmon filets and place on planks
  4. Do not turn - grill about 20 minutes (when salmon flakes)
  5. Serve on plate drizzled with local fresh Honey or Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar
  6. I serve with roasted Asparagus drizzled with Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar
