{VIDEO} Sugar Cookie Fruit Pizza with Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

  • Cookie Crust 1 package Krusteaz Butter Vanilla Sugar Cookie Mix 1 large egg ½ cup (1 stick) butter, room temperature Frosting ¼ cup (½ stick) unsalted butter, room temperature 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups powdered sugar For chocolate: Add ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder For lemon: Add 1-2 teaspoons lemon zest and 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice Topping Assorted fresh fruit for topping, such as berries, grapes and sliced strawberries, peaches and kiwi

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray a 12-inch pizza pan with cooking spray. Stir together the egg, butter and cookie mix until a dough forms. Press dough evenly onto your prepared pan to create a circle shape. Bake for 14-16 minutes or until light golden brown around edges. Cool completely, while you slice your fruit and prepare the frosting. With an electric mixer, beat butter on medium speed until smooth. Beat in cream cheese and vanilla. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread frosting over cooled cookie crust and arrange fruit on top. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for 1 hour, or overnight. Slice and serve. Cover and refrigerate leftovers for up to 3 days
