I tried the recipe for the Hummingbird Cake. But it failed. I had to use a bundt cake pan because I could not find the small one. It spilled over the top like a volcano. I have to question the amount of baking soda it said to use. One tablespoon is quite a lot, especially with only two cups of flour. I also used extra large eggs. I baked it for 1hr and 30 minutes before giving up. Must admit the batter did taste good clear to the end. When I tossed it out it wasnt burnt but was still in the batter stage. What happened
