This refreshing and delicious drink is perfect for Sunday Brunch and is very similar to a Bloody Mary. This drink however is always made with Clamato or a combination of tomato and clam juice. The proper way to to enjoy a Classic Canadian Caesar is with a lick of the celery salt on the rim and then a drink through the straw. Enjoy!

Classic Canadian Caesar

  • Servings: 1 glass
  • Yield: 1 serving
  • Prep Time: 5 min

Ingredients

  • 1 lime wedge
  • 1 Tablespoon celery salt
  • Ice Cubes
  • 1 oz Vodka
  • 1 dash worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 8 oz's tomato and clam juice cocktail such as Clamato
  • 1 celery stick
  • 1 piece fresh horseradish
  • Serve with a straw

Preparation

  1. Wet the rim of a cocktail glass with the lime wedge
  2. Place celery salt in a small dish and press the rim of the glass into the salt to coat it.
  3. Add Ice to the glass
  4. Pour vodka, worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce over the ice.
  5. Top with tomato-clam juice and give it a stir.
  6. Garnish with lime wedge, celery stick and horseradish
  7. Serve with a straw and enjoy!
