The only certain thing in our home is that we will be changing our ingredients. My son is allergic to dairy and avocados. My husband has high blood pressure so he needs a low sodium diet.I am gluten free and my daughter can eat anything.Just ordering pizza requires, 1 gluten free crust, 1 pizza without cheese, and 1 pizza will veggies. We substitute almond milk and rice flour in our recipes. I am Hispanic and most of our dishes involve cheese and avocado but we keep them on the table for those that can add it to their food. One of my favorite recipes is picadillo. This is basically any ground meat seasoned with Mexican spices. The picadillo can be used for tacos, chalupas, envueltos, Chile relleno or any other classic Mexican dish.

Brown 1 lb of ground beef, chicken, or turkey over medium heat

Add ¾ cup chopped onion, ¾ cup chopped tomato, 3 diced garlic cloves

Stir until onions are softened then add the following seasoning

This is the basic but you can add a chili pepper to spice it up a bit or any other veggie. Some people even add raisins.

Delish and so simple!!! Enjoy.
