If you give a mom a casserole, she's going to ask you for a hug.
When you give her a hug, she'll probably say "you didn't have to."
When she's finished, She'll ask how she can repay you.
When she feeds her family, she'll probably send you a pic.
When she sends the pic, she might notice her kids are a mess.
So she'll probably ask you to forgive the chaos.
When she's finished cleaning up the mess, she'll find something else to clean up.
She'll start sweeping.
She might get carried away and sweep every room in the house.
She may even end up mopping the floors as well!
When she's done, there still won't be time to take a nap.
You'll have to send her a reminder text that she really needs to rest.
She'll crawl onto the couch, make herself comfortable and fluff the pillow a few times.
She'll probably tell you she has a million things to do.
So she'll get back up and start a load of laundry, and she'll ask if there is anything she can do for you.
When she asks you if there's anything she can do for you, she'll insist on making you dinner.
Then she'll want to know what's your family's favorite dish.
Which means she's headed to to grocery store.
She'll cook it up and deliver it to your door.
Looking at your family will remind her that she has a million things to do.
So... she'll ask for a little help.
And chances are she's been too busy to cook dinner, and she's going to need another casserole.
