Looking for a fun way to surprise the special love in your life on Valentine's Day? Heart Shaped Eggs with Bacon Hearts are the perfect way to spread the love on Valentine's Day and get the day started off right.

To begin you want to prepare the bacon. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil to assemble the hearts. To make the bacon hearts you lay the bacon flat and then fold it in half, lengthwise. You then form a heart on the baking sheet, using the folds of the bacon to keep the heart upright and stable.

Once all of the bacon hearts assembled, you then place the bacon in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minute or until desired crispiness.

While the bacon hearts are cooking you can make your egg-shaped hearts. This is a great way to get the kids involved in the kitchen.

You can do this a couple of ways. You can use heart shaped egg rings, a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut the egg once it is cooked, or a silicone heart mold. My preferred method is the silicone method.

As soon as the bacon is ready you will want to take it out of the oven and place it on a paper towel-lined plate to remove any excess fat.

Serve the heart shaped eggs with bacon hearts along with some fruit and breakfast is ready!
