IT'S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEARRRRR!

Fall. With its colorful leaves and crisp air. Cute outfits and pumpkins all around. Halloween and family time. Turkey for days and it's the pre party to Christmas. It doesn't get any better then this time of year.

Summer is fun and all but there are adventures to be had in the fall. Here is a list of some all time awesome things to do with the family when autumn graces us with its festive presence.

Explore an apple orchard.
How amazing will it be to watch your children run through the leaves, filling their basket with fresh apples. You can make a fresh apple pie when you get home!

Go to a pumpkin patch.
This has got to be my kids favorite activity for fall. They love picking up and inspecting every one. Describing what kind of face they want to carve into it. You can roast the pumpkin seeds when you get home!

Take a hike.
Literally. Find a fun trail and get your tennies on! Take your babes on an outdoor hiking adventure. Take lots of pictures and enjoy the views :)

Dress up with your kids.
Most of you probably already do this, but hey I'm a parent I get it, it's get busy with work and preparing your kids Halloween costume you forget/stop caring about your own costume. But make it work this year! Your kids will love seeing you all dressed up!

Discover a corn maze.
Your kids will love it! Good old fashioned fun! Hey you could even wear your costume and run through it together!

Halloween movie marathon.
If you have never seen a A classic kids Halloween movie then drop everything right now and find one, turn it on and prepared to be amazed. We are talking Halloweentown, Hocus Pocus, Beetlejuice, The Addams Family. Get some popcorn and get to snugglin'!

Carve pumpkins.
My favorite thing! Lay out a sheet and the pumpkins and start the project, be sure to turn on one of those Halloween movies while you carve! There are lot of fun alternatives to carving also- painting, drawing, glitter, glue items on! Get creative!

Play in the leaves.
Parents I know it isn't always fun raking all those leaves as they continue to fall. But what fun it is to jump in big piles with your kids! Throw them everywhere and pick your favorite ones for a leave project later!

Make a bonfire & have s'mores. Who doesn't like s'mores? No one. Get all your yummy ingredients and create delicious treats with your kids. Hey throw a hotdog on a stick while you're at it, enjoy dinner and dessert over the fire tonight!

Go for a hayride.
We took our girls on a hayride around town one year to trick or treat and it is seriously a memory they will never forget. Riley has talked about it everyday. There is just something about riding on a trailer lined with hay bales.

Go to the fair.
Fair food. That's it. Enjoy! Lol and all the other fun things at the fair. Perfect weather also!

Have fun and enjoy it while it last! Christmas is here in no time 🎄
