Best white chili I've ever made. I have won the chili cook off 3 years in a row! A must make recipe for every family

Green Chile Chili

Prep Time: 15 hr Cooking Time: 30 hr

Ingredients

  • 1 jar of verde salsa
  • 1 large can chicken broth
  • 1 small can green chiles
  • 2 fresh jalapenos
  • 2 serreano peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 2 T butter
  • 2 cups ground spicy chicken - cooked
  • 1 cup diced chicken - cooked
  • 2 cans white beans (your choice)
  • white monterry jack cheese (for top)
  • green onion dicied (for top)
  • cilantro (for top)

Preparation

  1. add butter to big pot
  2. add onions and both peppers to melted butter
  3. Saute for 2-3 minutes on low heat
  4. Add cooked ground and chopped chicken
  5. stir for 1 minute
  6. add verde salsa, chiles, beans and chicken broth
  7. cook chili on low heat for up to 30 min
  8. top with cheese, green onions and cilantro (optional)
