You can buy large or small quantities of spices, nuts, rice and other staples in the bulk aisle of your supermarket. Jars of spices can be very expensive but purchasing just what you need from the bulk bins can save you lots of money. A small bag of spices can sometimes cost you 20 to 30 cents when a jar of the same spice might be 2 to 3 dollars.
