When we wake up in the morning each day, it is important for us to ask ourselves one question: “What really matters?”

In all cases, the answer should always be the safety and well-being of our families. But what many of us miss is that this is sometimes a preemptive battle. There will be times when the best defense is a good plan for prevention,so that the major health problems do not develop in the first place.

Of course, not all illnesses and diseases are preventable. In these cases, the best we can hope for is that the illnesses are managed as best as they can be handled with the current technology available. When we share the information we have available, we can grow in exponential ways -- and possibly solve some of the medical mysteries that have proven to be elusive to these modern days.

It has been suggested that the most pressing medical issue here is the issue of cancer, given the large number of cases that are seen on an annual basis. We must work together to eradicate cancer and live longer healthier lives for ourselves and for our families.
