Everyone knows your newborn is going to eat, sleep, and poop for the first few weeks on the outside. This should give you some time to realize what you may have purchased or been given too many of and what you had no idea you needed. Since, after baby arrives, you will have all the time in the world to run around getting things because getting a crying baby bundled into a carseat and out to the car is a breeze (do you sense the sarcasm) let's focus on a registry of things for the new mama!

A self-refilling water bottle and snack bag that follows you around the house...but I haven't found one yet, so ask for a few baskets of snack" _blank"="">Snacks and water that you can strategically place around your home.

Nipple Cream, Hot/Cold therapy pads, and Breast Pads if you plan on nursing. Stock up on disposable breast pads and once your supply has regulated move on to washable pads.

A nursing pillow">Nursing Pillow/Feeding Pillow may not seem like a gift for mom, but without it you alignment will be thrown off from nursing or bottle feeding baby. Your body will thank you for it after a few months.

The baby ktan" _blank"="">Baby Ktan carrier. This is the best newborn carrier, quick, easy, and comfy! You gain the ability to use two hands for a little bit of time and keep baby snuggled close. The only downside is, unless you and your partner or another caregiver who will be wearing baby are the same size, you will need to get two sizes.

A Gift Certificate to Babies at the Barre Online Classes. Regain strength while you connect with other new moms and find support through sharing the joys and struggles you have been experiencing. Designed by a pre/postnatal certified instructor and mom, this is a great way to break up the day, exercise while bonding with baby, and chat with other moms from across the country and around the world.

And last but not least, a few gift certificates from friends and family for some pre-made meals, tidying up, and TIME to take a long hot shower to yourself, a middle of the night feeding off, and a day to sleep in past the crack of dawn.

Sit back and get pampered with gifts from this registry for you! Baby will reap all the benefits of a happy, healthy, comfortable, and rested mama!
