If you can choose anywhere in the country to get married in then what’s the best place of all for your 2019 wedding? From a romantic Scottish castle to a stately pile near to the English Riveria we have sourced the best of the best…
Duns Castle
A picture perfect Scottish Castle Duns is the venue to choose if your heart is set on a winter wedding. With roaring fires inside and snow on the outside guests will get to enjoy Castle life over the course of a weekend (if your budget stretches to it)
There’s a range of other activities in and around the Castle including falconry, clay pigeon shooting and whiskey tasting
Claridge’s
If grand and fancy is your thing then you should look no further than Claridge’s Hotel in central London. With executive chef Martyn Neill at the helm expect 5* wedding catering, exquisitely decorated bedrooms and 5* silver service all the way.
What you won’t get is the exclusive run of the hotel unless your pockets are very very deep indeed though!

Brympton House
Described as the ‘most beautiful house in England’ Brympton House, which is set amidst the rolling hills of Somerset (but close to the coast at West Bay), is the place to get married in 2019 if you are looking for a stately pile that is sublimely beautiful without being at all ‘hotel stuffy’ at any time of the year.
It has an exquisite estate Church (St Andrews) and a glorious choice of spaces to tie the civil knot in – from a 1350 fortified medieval manor that sits in the estate grounds to a ‘Temple’ on the South Terrace.
With glorious gardens including a croquet lawn and lake and accommodation onsite for 70 guests it might just be the venue with everything…..and the best bit is probably the party barn which doesn’t have a closing time!
