I'm about to let you in on the greatest money I've ever spent as a parent... and it only cost me $20! Now I am a mom to three kids; ages 7, 5 & 2 which results in them not always, okay never, liking the same activity. Except one day when the stars aligned and it happened...

There they were, all of my children playing, laughing TOGETHER!!! And not only did this last for your expected time allowance before the inevitable fighting began, it lasted for hours! I sat on my patio, sipping cold iced tea, reading a gossip magazine only to glance up from time to time to photograph this unimaginable event. It was pure mama bliss!

You see I purchased a kids play parachute for one of the little's upcoming birthdays. As it arrived in the mail a few days early, (thank you Amazon Prime) the kids were excited to see what was in the box. After opening, I was sure it would be met with the same response every other toy item in the Riles household receives... 20 minutes of engagement went to those exceptional toys, but even those could not withstand their demand for snacks in 20 minute increments.

For only $20, the ways to use a kids parachute are endless, it's great to lay out on the grass for babies & tots. All age kids, even adults, love all the parachute games to play. It's a fantastic activity at kids birthday parties or play dates too. This has been one of the very few activities that have successfully engaged my kids to play, using imagination and working together.

Hands down, my favorite Parenting Hack!
