There's a cool advert on TV at the moment directed at parents that basically uses those wisdomly pearls from the bible about how if you can hold your head and keep your cool when the whole world around you is going mad, if you can be there for them when they need you, to feed them, put clothes on their back and pay for their tuition and all those nights out, cinema trips, taxis home and holidays abroad, if you can give them sound advice when they need it, without loosing the plot when they break the rules, what's more, you'll be a woman my girl. Or something like that anyawy. But it strikes a chord by making you relate to what they was saying as a parent and what it takes to be a good and loving parent of today. I thought it was very cleverly done myself actually. Definitely one that a lot of parents could relate to but I guess that's just how they get your attention these days! Never lose your marbles, not until they've all well and truly fled the nest anyway! :)
