I am a mother of 2 little girls and now a baby boy. My second daughter, I was 28 weeks pregnant when my water broke and I was in the hospital for 6 weeks and delivered at 34 weeks. She was healthy and matured beautifully. So after that experience I was very scared, but excited to find out I was pregnant again 5 years later. This time I was around 26 weeks when my feet started swelling to balloons, head aches, and just overall not well. I scheduled a doctors appointment to find out I had preeclampsia and had to go to the hospital. When arriving to the hospital my blood pressure was 206/104, and the doctors said we have to do an emergency c-section. He was born 10/06/2017 at 3:41am 1lb 8oz and almost 12in long. He is now at Radys Children Hospital, which is an hour and a half away from home so we go and see him about 2-3 times a week. He's almost doubled his weight. He is on a CPAP Machine and thriving amazingly. The overwhelming feeling we had yesterday 11/8/2017 of walking in the room and hearing him cry for the first time was the best feeling in this world. It lets us know miracles do happen and he is our miracle. His progress has gone amazing and has already been a rollercoaster of emotions. At 2 weeks old he had a PDA surgery on a valve in his heart. His recovery was amazing and he just surprises us with his greatness. We have learned as strong as we stay the stronger he will be. He wants to be here and he shows us that everyday. So proud of our Landon Klay Nelson. He is our blessing in this world.
