​I found myself constantly worried about the dog and my twin boys. Would he be good with them or jealous of the time they took away from him. I found myself raising my voice if he got to close but one day I thought too myself "would I act this way if it was a small human wanting to be included?" My answer, never would I dream of it! I changed my thinking and my actions that very moment. My boys are now a year old and its them I have to teach being gentle with their dog. Our dog Lance loves them but he is still an animal that has to be watched as they are young and learning how to treat him. I'm so relieved to have that unneeded stress removed from our home.
