You DO NOT need all the items that registries "suggest" you should have. Your basic needs for the first 4 months are: a co-sleeper; diapers, wipes and bottles (whether or not you are breastfeeding). That's it. I know, I know...all the excitement of registering is half the fun but let me tell you. If you don't have a HUGE house, your home will be cluttered to the point that you will not be able to move. Don't even think about opening those big gifts like high chairs, strollers, sitting chairs, swings, etc., thinking that if you get rid of the boxes, you will have more room. You will not. Most of those items are bundled and not completely put together and once you do put them together, they are MASSIVE. We are basically living in my daughter's house. LOL. On another note, I wouldn't change a thing. Every day is a gift with my beauty and I will gladly live in HER house as long as she'll have me.
