The best thing I ever did for my health and body and for my twins was not to change anything. Eating right but never over eating. Getting up everyday early, no Sunday off when you are a dairy Farmer. My doctor was all for it. I was told when we found out it was twins that I would have to stop work at eighteen weeks to twenty two. Because I had twins I was constantly monitored. Every time I went in she said your doing good keep on going. She said she had mom's who by that time wanted work notes just so they didn't have to work. I kept on going. With twins I was told full term if I make it would be 38 weeks. I was already dilated and had a head dropped. Both girls were heads down so everything was a go. Except never went into labor. They set a date exactly at 38 weeks. Well I was a little late getting there had to milk the cows in the morning first! By the time they induced me it took no time to go into labor yes no C-section... And no epidural.... However I had to deliver in the surgical room. I was in labor for only an hour. Had both girls with in five minutes and it was natural. She accounts me working and staying active was all the plus to everything. Both girls together weight almost 14lbs. The next day was my first day off n almost five years from the farm. But the best to be blessed with two special gifts. I feel however very lucky I know everyone is different. I know not everyone could do what I have done. My job it's not a sit down but very active. I feel very very fortunate for everything. I just found out this past week that one of my friends lost her twins she had not told anyone yet she was pregnant I feel such a whole in my heart for her. We each have a story... Thank you for letting me share.
