As crazy as it sounds it is what you don't know that is important.  We all have instincts and there are quite a few "arm chair quarterbacks" out there and trusting your judgement is always the best thing to do.  Not knowing and experiencing what you don't know is what makes a great parent.  Learn for yourself because when it comes down to it...it is your child and you have to raise him/her the way you want and that is typically mirrored by how you were brought up.  Trust yourself and things will be fine and although everyone may tell you what you should be doing...trust your instincts...they always prevail.  ​
