If Christmas cards were honest, I’d tell you we are holding onto our marriage...sometimes barely.

If Christmas cards were honest, I’d tell you I worry this is my last Christmas with my father.

If Christmas cards were honest, I’d tell you our brilliant children struggle in emotional and physical ways.

If Christmas cards were honest, I’d tell you we are not rich...and sometimes we are forced to have very frugal months.

If Christmas cards were honest, I’d tell you behind the filters is a woman who is saddened by wrinkles and motherhood scars.

But this digital Christmas wish to you IS honest, and here is what I want to share:

Your family is imperfectly wonderful...just like mine.

Your family is changing the world through love...just like mine.
