Can anyone here share some tips to excite kids about their dental visit? My DD is 6 years old and this is the first time I’m taking her to a dental clinic. She has a very good oral health. She used to floss after every meal and also brush 2 times a day. Even after doing all these, last day I noticed cavity on her upper front tooth. I asked her if it hurts or not and she told me that she didn’t notice it before. When I told her about the appointment that I have scheduled for next week from a pediatric dental office, she showed reluctance to accompany me. I tried to convince her but she is not listening to me. I think she has dental phobia. What are the things that I should do to make her visit the dental clinic? I have heard that tooth decay can be spread easily. I'm worried about the situation. Any advice is highly appreciated. Thanks!
