Ever since my 4 month old son was born he hates his car seat! He screams and cries and doesn't calm down. The poor guy get hoarse by the end of a short car ride to the grocery store. He was diagnosed with acid reflux at 2 months and he is on baby Zantac which we thought might help the problem but we were wrong! We have tried using a convertible car seat instead of the infant carrier, we took out toys/mirrors in his seat (thinking he may have car sickness issues). I have even resorted to peppermint or lavender oil in a car diffuser to help him calm down. I am out of ideas. We would like to take a road trip at the end of the month but fear it might not be such a good idea. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated!
