Being parents of teen girls is not easy. Teenage is one of the most complex stages of a person’s life and you obviously want your daughter to come out as a stronger and better person. At this age, every girl wants to look good, stylish and smart and as a parent, you want to be able to help her. Hair is one of the most important aspects of your girl’s appearance and one that may give her a lot of trouble. How can you help her in this situation? Luckily, there are some easy hair hacks for busy moms that can come in handy for making different hairstyles for their daughters. Some of the top hacks are outlined below:

Use a toothbrush and hairspray for taming the frizz

Taming the frizz with hairspray is a delicate act and you need to balance it properly. If you use too little, there won’t be much difference and too much will only stiffen your hair. Therefore, it is a good idea to use an old toothbrush here. Spray some hairspray on it and then run it over the flyaway strands of your daughter. This will keep their hair in place without making it seem like a bird’s nest.

Braiding in wet hair can give you curls

When your girls are young, you don’t want them to use curlers or dryers very often, but what if they want curls? An easy hack is to just braid their hair when it is wet after a shower. You can make one French braid or a series of small ones and leave them in. It is best to do this at night. Undo the braids in the morning and use a little texturizing spray on the resultant waves. You can also create bouncy waves by scrunching the hair with your hands.

Use the two ponytail trick for adding volume

If your daughter wants fuller or longer hair, you can use this trick. Make a ponytail with the top half of her hair and make a lower ponytail with the remaining hair. The lower hair tie will be hidden by the top ponytail, which makes it look like you have one high and long ponytail.

Add some shine with a boar bristle brush

Experts have said that the best way for you to move the natural oil in your scalp to the hair ends is by running a boar bristle brush through your hair. This will naturally tame your girl’s hair and add more shine to it.

Use dry shampoo before sleeping

There are days when your daughter doesn’t have the time to wash her hair. It might be late and they have school in the morning, so what should they do? You can apply dry shampoo to their hair before they go to bed. It works in the strands during the night and they will have healthy-looking and clean hair in the morning.

Use these hair hacks and your daughter can have stylish and beautiful hair.
