As I look back at my photos of my newborn I can close my eyes and remember small details. The softness of her clothing. The feel of her hair against my cheek. The weight of her little body in my arms. I flip through the photos and they are either of just her, or her and my husband, or her and her siblings, or her and her grandparents. There are very few of her and her mom. Make sure, no matter how tired you are, or how messy your hair may be, or how little makeup, if any, you have on, to remember to pass off your camera and have other people take photos of you holding your baby. You will never get those moments back. Don't let them pass by without capturing your presence.
