My family just watched the 5th Wave recently. While my daughters enjoyed the movie, I could not help thinking what was I doing allowing my children to watch this. Yet, another movie displaying children as tools to fight each other and show violence. The Hunger Games series was very well received and popular as well. Am I the only one thinking why are these books and movies becoming so glamorous and the "thing" of this era? I would enjoy hearing the perspective of other parents. Am I overreacting?
