When I set out to create a DIY cardboard plane for my son’s Halloween costume in 2014, I had no idea it would be the catalyst for me to venture into entrepreneurship as a product designer and founder of a kids' playtime brand. After spending late nights and countless hours tinkering in the garage, I finally made a cardboard plane I was proud of, but I knew it wasn't something that every parent had the time (or talent) to create.
