Nothing prepares you for bringing baby home for the first time. The jitters, the nervous energy... the NOW WHAT HAPPENS! There is a lot that's going on in a parents mind and heart when baby finally makes it home from the hospital!

5 Things I wish I had known:

1. You don't know everything... and that's OK. Stop over reading baby books and just go with your instinct.

2. A squirt bottle is your best friend mamas!

3. Those tiny baby nails are no joke!

4. The baby's first few poops are pretty scary looking. Don't freak... it's normal.

5. Let people help you! - This is a big one... Ask for help, accept help and embrace the community around you who only wants to help and share in this amazing time!
