When I began my weight loss journey over a year ago, my husband and I couldn't have had more different tastes. While he was enjoying soda and fast food, I was embarking on the fight of my life. It was hard, but it was not impossible. I made gradual changes to my diet, and as I found ways to incorporate the things he loved, and making them healthier, he started to come over to my side. I didn't take our dinners from fried chicken and mashed potatoes to steamed fish and kale in one day. I simply made kale chips one day and said , "hey these are pretty good, want to try one." The more I slowly evolved our meals, I was able to satisfy both of us. There are plenty of vegetarian dishes that can please both meat and non meat eaters, it's about getting creative in the kitchen and being a supportive partner.
